Halina Li (she/her) ATR-P | Provisional Art Therapist
Halina’s professional mission is to hold a space of art creation and help the clients to find fun and flow in the session. Her clinical focus is on developing the strengths of each client, encouraging and instilling hope through playing with different art materials. Halina’s therapeutic philosophy is to assume that clients are doing their best while acknowledging there are changes they could implement to make life better. Halian is a bi-lingual speaker (Chinese and English), and a bi-cultural therapist. With the cultural humility and flexibility of cultural integration, Halina sympathetically connects with clients from diverse ethnic and cultural groups. Halina’s sessions are positive, accessible, and healing.
Halina holds a master degree of Art Therapy from Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. She has group facilitation experience in Lewis and Clark Counseling Center Open Art Studio. She also has individual session experience from her internship at Heron Creek Therapeutic Program. She has experience serving all age groups. Halina is working towards her art therapy licensure under the supervision of Sally Giles, LPC, LCAT, ATCS. Halina has the passion to help clients see a better version of themselves and to promote their overall well being. Besides art making, Halina also likes classical music, ballet, gardening, travel, and reading.
