Earthtones offers exceptional training opportunities in a dynamic and supportive learning environment. Our seven-month, part-time, internship program offers a unique experience that challenges and transforms your abilities as a budding horticultural therapist. You will complete your internship having developed your therapeutic style and several professional relationships in the community. Our internship program is known for the quality and breadth of supervision offered and is catered to your needs as an individual. We accept interns who work creatively, who have a solid foundation of horticultural knowledge, and who are sensitive to the needs of diverse clinical settings. Ideal applicants possess stellar communication skills and thrive in an energetic work environment.
The Earthtones internship model is aligned with our music therapy internship and requires 700 hours of direct, non-direct and horticultural services. HT internships begin in July and January and are on a rolling schedule based on the availability of openings. In order to qualify for the internship applicants must have completed half of the core curriculum required by the American Horticultural Therapy Association. Currently, Earthtones offers a part-time position for an internship. Questions and emailed applications can be directed to our horticultural therapy program director, Genevieve Layman at email@example.com.
